The Compakto Twin-Axis Adjustable Collet Router is the world's first and only machine of its kind—a groundbreaking New Zealand-made tool, proudly designed and manufactured in Nelson, that bridges the gap between traditional spindle moulders and conventional router tables. Introduced in 2024, this innovative machine combines the power, precision, and versatility of both worlds into one user-friendly, highly accurate collet router—perfect for modern woodworking shops, joineries, furniture makers, and panel processing operations.

Imagine effortless, precise cutter positioning with a single joystick that controls two-axis movement (vertical and horizontal), allowing rapid coarse adjustments or ultra-fine 0.1 mm increments at the touch of a button. A clear digital readout displays the exact cutter position, eliminating guesswork and delivering repeatability that surpasses even the most advanced spindle moulders.

Key features that set the Compakto Collet Router apart include:

• Universal ER25 collet system — compatible with a huge range of router and CNC cutters up to 16 mm shank (and recommended tool diameters up to 70 mm).

• Electronically variable spindle speed from 1500–18000 RPM for perfectly tuned, clean, burn-free cuts every time.
• Rapid above-table cutter changes — no need to remove the spindle or fumble underneath.
• 1/2" and 1/4" collets included.
• Integrated dust extraction through both fence and table, plus low operating noise and minimal vibration for a cleaner, quieter workshop.
• Quick fence adjustments (coarse and fine), removable fence for easy storage, built-in wheels for workshop mobility, and handy onboard shelving for bits and accessories.
• Powerful 2.2 kW (3 HP) spindle with electronic braking for safety and control.

Shipping

Our warehouse is based in Nelson, New Zealand, and all transactions are charged in New Zealand dollars.

Shipping within New Zealand is charged at NZD $15 (non-rural) or NZD $17 (rural), including GST, for most products (some exceptions apply). This excludes Great Barrier Island, Waiheke Island, the Chatham Islands, D'Urville Island, and Stewart Island.

All items from a single order will be shipped together. If multiple orders are placed on the same day, by the same person, to the same delivery address, we will do our best to combine them into one shipment, unless otherwise instructed.
