The GS Pond remains steady while sharpening, and can provide you with a stable work space even away from a sink. Sharpening generally produces a dirty slurry which often splatters over the surroundings. The GS Pond offers a space wide enough for sharpening as well as for catching the water that drips off the stone.

Shapton® Glass Stone Pond
The pond is heavy and non-slip. It functions as a solid base for all the sharpening process. It holds the water splashed during the sharpening and flattening operations. It consists of two 5mm pieces of tempered glass laminated together held in a heavy rubber rim. The glass is sand-blasted to provide a non-slip surface for the stone holders.

Shipping within New Zealand is charged at NZD $15 (non-rural) or NZD $17 (rural), including GST, for most products (some exceptions apply). This excludes Great Barrier Island, Waiheke Island, the Chatham Islands, D'Urville Island, and Stewart Island.
All items from a single order will be shipped together. If multiple orders are placed on the same day, by the same person, to the same delivery address, we will do our best to combine them into one shipment, unless otherwise instructed.
