This sharpening jig is a simple, trouble-free way to sharpen chisels, hand plane blades from 3mm to 85mm wide, and card scrapers. Light, robust and easy to transport, it’s quick to set up and features a unique sharpening angle that can be varied from 23 to 90 degrees. Everything packs away in the included carry case, so your sharpening kit goes wherever you do.
The new kit includes:
- GSharp sharpening jig
- Bench hook for setting up cabinet scrapers and sharpening electric planer blades
- Carry case to keep the whole kit together, protected and ready to go
It also comes with four replaceable diamond hones and a backing-off tool, and the jig can deliver a secondary micro bevel for the ultimate edge on square-edged tools. Most important of all, it’s incredibly safe, because the blade stays static while it’s being sharpened.

Our warehouse is based in Nelson, New Zealand, and all transactions are charged in New Zealand dollars.
Shipping within New Zealand is charged at NZD $15 (non-rural) or NZD $17 (rural), including GST, for most products (some exceptions apply). This excludes Great Barrier Island, Waiheke Island, the Chatham Islands, D'Urville Island, and Stewart Island.
All items from a single order will be shipped together. If multiple orders are placed on the same day, by the same person, to the same delivery address, we will do our best to combine them into one shipment, unless otherwise instructed.
